ReplyDeleteI think Diego heard vidas voice when he was close to drowning because he saw vidas as a father figured and he looked up to him. I think that the things vidas said to him was important to.
I think Diego heard Vidas's voice when he was drowning because Vidas has become the voice of reason in his life. He trusts Vidas and therefore hears him as he approaches the light, or at least thinks he is.

ReplyDeleteI think that coming out of the ocean made him feel that he doesn't have to fight with himself anymore. He can do what he did to survive in the ocean just go with the flow. And you will eventually come back from it. Knowing this it showed a change in Diego in a since that he can face Mac and maybe finally be able to forgive himself for the guilt of not stopping Mac or telling more people in the first place.
